Contribute to the Center for Black Literature
The Center for Black Literature is having our first Fundraising Drive!
Dates: December 15, 2011 – January 31, 2012
Goal: $15,000
To help with current programming costs, we are asking YOU, the individual, to make a difference! As a not for profit Center at Medgar Evers College, the Center must raise ALL of its funds for its programs. We ask that you give a tax deductible contribution of $40.00; however, we also invite you to give what you can ($5, $10, anything you can give is greatly appreciated). Your contribution is valuable and will enable us to continue our important work.
Your support will help us to sustain our mission and ensure that we continue to provide a forum and space for nurturing writers and readers and an historical record for documenting the vast literature created by writers from the African diaspora. Many of our programs are FREE, open to the public, or offer low fees to ensure that our programs are accessible to all.
As a supporter you will be among those who are committed to preserving our vision. We will also list you on our website as an important supporter.
Please complete the membership form and return your tax-deductible contribution today!
